Bax Admin
Skip the 'Fax User' window that first appears on your
screen by clicking the cancel button.
In the main window, click the 'Admin' button. The following window will appear.
Note: if the admin button does not show up, hold the crtl
button down while double clicking in the title bar just above
the printer button.
Device default IP address: 192.168.168.168
Default password: baraka
If you cannot manage to connect, please refer to
the FAQ page.
Must Do
Change the IP address of your
device so that it reflects your network.
Change the default password. Quit obvious.
Monitors the IP addresses that you have selected
Click Menu / Ping Monitor.
Available upon registration of any Baraka software.
Click Menu / Device / Config
Will restart the fax server only, no device reboot.
Click Menu / Device / Restart
Will reboot your device.
Click Menu / Device / Reboot
Will stop your device.
Click Menu / Device / Stop
First time connect must do.
Click Menu / Chg Admin Passwd
Will adjust the time and date of your fax device.
Click Menu / Date Time Config
Will walk you through the necessary steps to add a new modem.
Click Menu / Add Modem
Will walk you through the necessary steps to remove a modem
from the server.
Click Menu / Remove Modem / Refresh button. The installed
modem will be listed in the drop down box.
Select the desired modem and click 'OK', Bax will
remove it from the server.

Click Add User in Bax Admin window.
Click Add User tab in Add / Remove window.
Enter users Login name and password for simple
users.
For administrative writes fill the Fax Admin Password box.
NOTE : These are case sensitive.
Click Add Address tab in Add / Remove window.
For additional info on syntax, put your mouse over the example
below the text box.
Click Remove tab in Add / Remove window.
Click the update button to see the list of users / address.
Select the appropriate user / address and click the remove
button. You will be prompt to confirm the deletion.
Refer to the Telnet web page.
Click Statistic button in Bax Admin window.
Select the sent or received tab and click update.
You may then save the content to a file.
