Modem Configuration

Click Modem in the Admin tool bar, the following window will appear.

Click Refresh to update the modem combo box. All the potential modems will be listed.

Select the one you need to update and Click Fetch Data, all the modem configurations will appear in the appropriate text box.

The following can be helpful for Dos/Windows users.
ttyS0=com1, ttyS1=com2 and so on.

By default the fax server will give access to the incoming faxes only to 'root' and 'Hylafax' users. By the same means, only 'root' and 'Hylafax' users can read and/or delete those faxes.

To gave read access to the incoming faxes, select the Read/Others checkbox will give access to all the fax users in Read mode.

To gave delete access to the incoming faxes, select the Delete/Others checkbox will give access to all the fax users to delete any fax file on the server.

By default the incoming faxes will be automatically deleted after 7 days.

NOTE : When changing the access rights. The changes will be applied to the future incoming faxes. Faxes that are already in the queue will remain with the old rights.
