Yonge St Condo, Toronto
This condo in north Toronto was composed of wooden textures along with the colour white. The team at Baraka GTA Home Staging added some silver and neutral colours to the family room, in order to stage this fantastic location condo in north Toronto.
Throughout the narrow home, we added in elements of polished silver and mirrors to amplify reflections, create more light and make the house appear wider.
To keep the look clean, modern and simple, we didn’t add too many accent colours to the neutral palate. Just a few blue accessories in the living room, a plant by the window and a small floral arrangement in the kitchen.
In less than a week, Home staging helped to make a sale!
The first step to working with patterns in home staging is starting with a clean, neutral space. Neutral colours like white, grey and cream provide a simple background to work within each room. When the paint, countertops and furniture are neutral, you can easily add pops of patterns in the art and accessories. This will create depth in your space. Also, prints will have more of a visual impact on a neutral background than they would in an overly cluttered, colourful space.
